K&R

I do not eat 3 burgers a week.... I stopped eating ground beef several years ago because of all the recalls and then I drastically reduced what actual beef I eat because of reasons stated in this film and because the beef of today is fed so many antibiotics and growth hormones. It is no wonder why antibiotic resistance is growing.
Our family eats more whole wheat pasta, vegetables and fruits. I would calculate our meat (fish, organic poultry, pork) intake is about 1/8 of our daily diet as opposed to 1/2 that it used to be. The rest is made up with vegetable sources wherever possible. At first, I didn't think it was possible , but as I made the change, I noticed my health getting better, and that is a good reason to continue.

You probably also shed some pounds as you started eating a lot more vegetables.

The way I see it, a plant based diet is a way of preventing major illness before it ever happens. I always read about people who say "being diagnosed with cancer caused me to revolutionize my diet". but why wait until being diagnosed with a major illness?! Start eating healthier now!

2. That was really well put together. I almost spewed water with the cow burp/fart scene.

I learned the basics of the issue over 20 years ago. It's not the only reason, but we've been vegetarian ever since and all three of our daughters are life-time vegetarians (with a few minor transgressions we call "experimenting&quot .

the price of corn is spiking. Concomitantly the price of beef is also spiking. I find that hamburger is way too pricey these days so I've changed my ways. I eat more chicken and pork (no methane). It's just as good, even better than hamburger.

Obama! Obama should apologize, they say!

Obama is responsible for the weather now, didn't you hear?

Republicans actually believe it!
