I am doing renovations in my kitchen and I worked on it till 3 am. So I slept in. Turned on the tv in my room when I woke up and saw this ridiculous investigation first thing when I opened my eyes. My first thought. We are paying these clowns to conduct this ridiculous investigation when there are many more important things they need to be doing. Where are the children? Help them find their parents!

They now control all three branches of government. There is nothing to stop them. Not even Mueller.

This is a critical time. Don't know what the Dems can do about anything.

But the Dem leaders need to have a pow wow and figure out how we got here. Is the Party not speaking to the needs of Americans? Is it the money disparity that Republicans get in donations? There needs to be a brutal, totally honest search for how we got here.

The Dems need to have a brutal meeting and figure this out. I'm not a politician. I don't know. I have some ideas, just like everyone, I guess. But it's the leaders' job to figure this out. How to get the votes of those on the edge, keep people from turning, and to get out the vote of all Dems. The Dems do a good job of GOTV, but more can be done.

The Dem Party has a higher % of people who simply don't vote. That's been true for many years. That needs to be worked on more, I think. Part of it is age. Repubs have more middle aged/senior people, and older people are more reliable voters.

However, now we have a Blue Wave coming. So the leaders need to focus on how to tap into that to the max. We have to get the most out of the Blue Wave.

Years of packing the courts, gerrymandering and flat out voter fraud aka voting machines that there still has not been taken care of. That's right just keep getting told we just need to get more people to vote. In some places it takes about 3x the democrat vote to equal one republican. Just be nice and let them get by with it. My guess when they refused to seat Garland they knew that the election was in the bag. How is Trump allowed to have a summit with Putin when his closest election administration people are under investigation and have been found guilty of seeking out Russian election interference? Trump even asked for Russia to help that was televised.

I realize that because he was not born in the US, Ted Lieu cannot run for the presidency, but, boy, I wish he could.

As for Adam Schiff, he also is a potential presidential candidate who has great integrity and knows government. He too would make a great president.

I haven't made up my mind yet as to who I will back in 2020, but I like both Adam Schiff and Ted Lieu. I understand the limitation about birth in the US, but it sure is a shame this time around since Ted Lieu is a man with really good character. Same for Adam Schiff.
