9. McCain Flubs Hit on Gingrich, Santorum While Stumping for Romney

CONWAY, S.C. – Another Mitt Romney event, another flub from Sen. John McCain, who today mixed up the names of GOP candidates when trying to cast differences between Romney and his counterparts.

“Lindsey Graham and Jim DeMint have joined with me time and time again to go to the floor of the senate to fight against the earmark, pork barrel corruption that goes on in Washington D.C., said McCain, speaking at a rally in a peanut warehouse. “Earmarks are a gateway to corruption. I can tell you that neither Mitt Romney nor Rick Santorum share that view.”

What McCain had meant to say was that neither Newt Gingrich nor Rick Santorum share that view.

Looks like McLame is about to lose his seat on the Romney tour bus.

At best, a Freudian slip. It indicates that deep down he really is not on the Romney bandwagon.

if this guy won in '08.

Can you picture the montage of serious fuck-ups we'd have by now? Can you imagine all the, "Well at least we don't have an Obama in the White House...", bullshit we'd be hearing from the wingnut corps?

Obama couldn't be this incompetent if he worked at it.

He walks & moves like a robot, always with a big smile on his face.

I get the overall impression of his body language that he's a multi-millionaire who lives 95% of his time in a private money-coming-out-of-his-ears world of his own. He interacts with the real world only when he has to for political purposes. He's clueless about how much more effort the average person has to put into just to survive paycheck to paycheck than he could ever imagine.

If there were any other politician who could make it even more transparently clearer than Reagan & Dimson Bush that Republicans use figureheads, it would be Mitt Romney. He seems totally clueless in the real world, very out of touch.

Too late. The Kool-Aid has been consumed; the ones who are most susceptible to slogan-speak have the words implanted in their brains:

I am confident that President Obama can turn this country around.

Good catch for the video guy.

Remember a month or two ago one of the candidates used a 'very short clip' of President Obama quoting McCain's team but they cut off the part where Obama said he was quoting McCain's team - and when the White House called out the candidate about it they said "Hey, those are words that Obama spoke" - well all's fair in love and war so now we should use McCain's words to show who it is that really can turn the country around - Obama!
