(78 posts)Listen, I hope you don't mind my posting a bootleg of the entire show above. But you've probably nothing to worry about: this is my 20th post today, so I'll likely be booted within the next 12 hours for hogging the board. Anyway, regardless of what happens, keep up the good work!

(206,099 posts)I remember when - ages ago - a couple of posters would try to post Bill Maher, but it never lasted for more than a day. But we discuss the show a lot here - DUers enjoy it and he often makes news - and I know that not everyone here gets HBO or even has TV, so I hang in and wait for the "official" version which may not be every single minute of the show, but is usually most of it, because I know this one won't disappear. Thanks for the thoughtful message.

(63,221 posts)Great show! Thom Hartmann and Catherine Rampell were great. Not so crazy about Steve Hilton. Was P.J. O'Rourke Drunk? He seemed pretty pointless. Sometimes I wonder why he invites certain people on his show.
Anyway, I always enjoy it, even if certain guests are sub-par. Thanks again for posting!

(206,099 posts)But there sure was a lot of material to deal with this week, yikes! And I also agree about the guests, though it did cross my mind that he might have had more than the one token woman for this week's discussion. There are sure a lot to choose from! As for P.J. O'Rourke, he's been on lots of times. He's an old friend of Bill's, though he's never been the "second half guest" that I can remember. I'm wondering if someone dropped out and he agreed to fill in? Nevertheless, it was a great show - with no right wingers this week!

(206,099 posts)They did address the main issues - especially the Kavanaugh nomination - but not without humor, something we sure need to make it through these tough days.

(206,099 posts)He's always great on the panel, but it was terrific that he got his own time to speak about his movie. And I think he and Bill could have kept their discussion going for the entire show!
