there's contact information for broadcast licensing. He's gonna get rich if he doesn't get himself killed, first.

People take risks to earn money.

Some people jump out of airplanes for a living.

Some people perform daring feats high above the crowd for a living.

Some people work with hazardous chemicals, dangerous machinery, and risky situations. We had a guy from the water department swallowed up by a collapsing ditch a few weeks back.

Take risks. Earn a living. At least pick one you enjoy so you'll die doing something you liked.

It went from a 2 to almost a 5 overnight. They didn't know it would be this bad and so fast. They didn't have time to prepare and get out like with other hurricanes. This is the 4th or 5th worst in US history. The wind is what will cause the fatalities and damage, not the rain this time.

A lot of blue collar workers live in its path and they live paycheck to paycheck. They spent their money to pay bills on the first of the month and don't have enough set aside for an emergency tank of gas or a motel room since there aren't enough shelters available too and many are not taking pets in (that sucks).

This storm took a very cruel turn. A lot of these people didn't have much of a chance. You can't blame them the same way you could with victims of slower moving storms where the residents have plenty of time to decide and evacuate. I wish them all the best.

Florida governor announced an impending catastrophic storm. To stay cause you can't afford to get out or can't figure a way out, that's one thing.

It just struck me --- here's a guy staying behind and taking video of the storm and looking like the main purpose is to sell the video to some tv station.... and doing this at the risk of his life.

so they can prove something like how macho they are to their buddies or do something that is just plain stupid like trying to surf. It is people like that that cause more problems for emergency help and they put the EMTs, etc at risk too when they end up having to be rescued.

In this morning's paper I read of some woman who was going to stay in her double wide. The last time the storm hadn't been so bad, and she figured things were always blown way out of proportion.

People can be idiots. Better to evacuate ten times that you didn't really need to than stay home the one time it's this bad.
