Boston U's Dancing Queen, Alexandria O-C, in the OFFICIAL un-cut 4 minute video,

In this original version, she's dancing along with a bunch of other Boston University students AND their Rhett the Terrier mascot, apparently having the time of their lives at B.U.

Who wouldn't want to attend college there?

Isn't it interesting how an edited video without context pazzyanne Jan 2019 #1
Out of context, it looked self-promoting -- which would be fine, but that's not what it was. pnwmom Jan 2019 #6
Absolutely agree! pazzyanne Jan 2019 #7
GOP oops! That's a great video and excerpts would be great in an AOC ad campaign. lagomorph777 Jan 2019 #13

changes how some people look at things. Republicans are too use to engineering their spin to suit their purposes, and many people fall for it, hook, line, and sinker!

It was clearly made to interest high school students and their parents in Boston University.

This furor reminds of the criticism some Parkland students got for a video of them making goofy faces at a party, as though they should always be sad if they were really grieving their fallen classmates. That criticism infuriated me because I figured all those kids wanted was to enjoy the bliss of innocence whenever they could, a bliss that was suppressed because we adults couldn't keep them safe. But innocence and corruption are mutually exclusive states of human existence and the corrupt will always criticize any expression of innocence because they don't understand it and, fundamentally, they envy those who do.

I swear, I can NOT understand why the Repukes are so offended. Evangelicals, sure - it's "agin mah relijun".

I'd have signed up for it in my college days! (Ex-gymnast, still a dancer.)

Thanks! Saved!

to be the center of attention. Even at that, it was still harmless fun.

But the whole video shows that she was just a small part of LOTS of students having fun. It shows how desperate they are to find something, anything, to criticize her for.
