(15,682 posts)This is the first time I've heard of or seen him. What can I say? It's love at first sight! Not to mention, I love The Daily Show. But I never see it other than here on DU when someone posts a clip.
I'll have to find out the channel it's on and when it airs so I can program it to record.
Thank you, Rhiannon, and to anyone else who does the service of posting these here. I really enjoy them.

(205,494 posts)At one point he had his own show, but I don't think it made very good use of his talents and it didn't last. He shows up semi regularly on The Daily Show - think he was on the Jon Stewart version, too. I know he's always been popular here so when he shows up, I post it - he's one funny guy!
And since the advent of Trump I've started posting the late night comedians here - monologues ad political guests when they're on. I post the ones I watch - The Daily Show, Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers - and Texas Towelie has started posting Jimmy Kimmel since he's gotten very political, too.

(15,682 posts)I'm not talking about the maggot's contribution. Everything about him is disgusting. But what our wonderful comedians do for us is a gift. Stephen Colbert was the only one I could watch after the election. I don't know what I would have done without him. I cried for nights and without DU felt completely lost.

(15,682 posts)for the time and effort you put into the messages and links you posted for me. I'm sorry it took me so long to tell you just how much it meant to me.
To this day, after 13 years on DU, I am still surprised by the generosity of DUers like you. I am so very grateful to be a part of this community.

(205,494 posts)That's the reason I started posting the late night political comedians. I post the ones I watch, Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers - and Bill Maher and John Oliver when they're on. I know that not everyone stays up as late as I do and some don't have cable - or even TV - and the humor makes me feel better these days, so I'm just paying it forward - so many DUers have been kind to me, as well, not to mention taught me so much. And we sure need more humor here, these days!
This one was the last in last week's compilation series, I thought it was particularly good, but it wasn't uploaded till Monday:
