He is a historian and he went through the history of the battles that presidents from Washington to now have had with the press. He stated in so many words, that none of our presidents have ever called the press the enemy of the people, until now.

The Dinner had gone from funny roasting to mean with the comedians.
That is needed at this time.
Chernow discussed the ethics of the Press. It was a powerful message
