- IMBD Plot Summary: Can we reverse climate change? Ice on Fire explores the many ways we reduce carbon inputs to the atmosphere and, more important, how to "draw" carbon down, bringing CO2 out of the atmosphere and thus paving the way for global temperatures to go down.
Reversing climate change is urgent, given that the world passed 400 parts per million CO2 in the atmosphere resulting in climate instability across the globe. We have heard the predictions but now climate related events are a daily reality - summer 2018 was the hottest on record, storms are stronger, droughts are longer, the arctic ice is thin or non-existent and Antarctica is melting faster than predicted...https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9114472/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl

Sea of Shadows, about the Vaquita.
Funny the image we can get of celebrities. For a long time, I thought of DiCaprio like the character he played in "The Beach". Never would have imagined he'd be such a leader in environmentalism.
I've been working on a project I'd like to pitch to him, but have no idea how to get close enough to get even 30 seconds.

(41,177 posts)and another one on the environment that was shown on the Natl. Geographic TV channel a couple years ago. Leo's father, George was the producer on this new film, Fire on Ice.
TH's show is calli-in; when he has an 'anything goes day' try to call to mention your project. The daily 3-hr. radio (and TV) show, 12-3 EDT, is carried on Dish, and can also be viewed online at FSTV/Free Speech TV, freespeech.org. Best.
