But saying she was "shocked' is really a misrepresentation that give an image of being helpless and speechless. She was rightiously indignant and spent no time recovering from her supposed "shock."
It's sexist language, as ususal.

No evidence of "shock" but rather good strong rebuttals to stupid questions. Compare this headline to the headline also appearing today "Ocasio-Cortez hits DHS chief for 'images of my violent rape' in Facebook group" where AOC merely asks if the DHS chief if he's seen the posts. One person portrayed as weak and shocked, the other portrayed as strong and forceful. Neither portrayal is supported by the videos shown. This is not an opinion about either woman, just the way they have been portrayed.
