The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals has granted a temporary stay in the Trump tax document lawsuit pending a review of the appeal by a panel of judges. This temporary stay means that Mazars USA, the President's tax preparer, doesn't have to hand over the tax documents by 1pm today as the Manhattan D.A.'s grand jury subpoena had required.

Mazars hold his tax documents, and were willing to hand them over to Congress, on foot of a subpoena to CYA. So if Trump loses the appeal, then Mazars will hand over all the documents, not a Trump redacted version.

Do you know how long this decision will take? Or anything about the judges who will be reviewing this?

It's a another stall tactic. But how likely is it the judges will rule in Trumps favor?

...it's just a sideshow now. These all relate to tax violations or incriminating evidence (Primarily) PRIOR to him taking office.

It's icing on the cake in my opinion. The real three ring circus is the Ukraine stuff - where a sitting president has abused the power of the presidency for personal gain.

That said - hitting him where it hurts (Trump Organisation = Testicular region) is clearly a viable strategy - go for it!
