Van Jones blasts Clinton over Gabbard claims: She's playing a 'very dangerous game'

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Yonnie3 (a host of the Video & Multimedia forum).

I don't care for Gabbard, but my problem with this is that for the casual observer it looks kooky and then de-legitimizes the REAL concrete collusion going on between Trump and the Russians which there is solid evidence for. This shit needs to cool off right away because it helps Trump. It makes it look like ALL the Russian meddling is kooky and made up and takes the focus OFF of Trump. I really don't know what Hillary thought she was going to accomplish here and I don't at all like Gabbard's response escalating it.

it wasn't because stein thought she would win...it was to prove hc won

and btw...if 3rd part runs are so dangerous (which they are) why don't the pols do something about it like promote ranked choice voting?

Remember this is the same ass who said, "He is finally becoming presidential" after the fucking moron's first State of the Union Address.

I said "Fuck You" and changed the channel fast when I saw this yesterday.

Last night Susan Rice told a GOP guest on Bill Maher's Real Time/Overtime that Tulsi has said some very questionable things and that is what Hillary is responding to.

The reader is expected to believe that Clinton is the kind of person who'd, out of nowhere, viciously attack an innocent victim with potentially career-ending slander, "disinformation" Jones calls it. Disinformation is what we call Russia's flooding of the U.S. with lies.

Hillary's never done anything remotely like before in her long career.

Further, Van's "game" spin requires not just believing that Hillary did do that genuinely evil thing but that she did it for no good reason, her victim a minor congresswoman from Hawaii who's doing very poorly in the primary and would presumably be gone from the race before long without any help from anyone.

It is despicable slander to cast Clinton as a person she's never been.

As for Rice's statement, she may be trying to help without giving out information she wants to hold close. Nothing in Clinton's years in the public suggests she would listen to some public statements from this congresswoman and turn them into a full-fledged conspiracy, complete with "grooming" for a third-party spoiler campaign. Again, that'd be totally unlike her.

What is in her history as secretary of state, U.S. senator and Russia hawk is extensive knowledge of Russia and the methods Putin uses to bring down governments, and extensive connections with people in our intelligence services and those of other nations. And a very strong interest in Putin's ongoing not-so-occult war against the U.S.,

and pretty damn smart when it comes to these matters as well as right on target with Putin and his "games". Van Jones on the other hand...not so much. Also, Erin Burnett has lost a lot of respect for her "objective journalism" from me.

unless there was something there. There's nothing to gain and a lot to lose. I believe Hillary. Van Jones, on the other hand, isn't necessarily trustworthy. I think he and Chuck Todd went to the same school of hack journalism. They have a hall named after one of their most famous alums....Geraldo Rivera

Hillary has a sterling record of warning us about Russian assets.
Van Jones, on the other hand, still waits patiently for "the pivot" that will never come.
