I won't say way off, but he's still off. Being anti-Trump does not mean you aren't for things. And he's wrong about how we haven't moved since the 70's. Crime went way down in the 90's. As did the deficit. Then Bush came along and screwed that up with his tax cuts for the rich.

The uninsured went way down under Obama. And he cut the deficit he inherited in half. Then Trump came along and screwed that up. We do move under Democratic presidents. It's under Republicans that we get stagnant or regress. And is that really any surprise? They pretty much campaign on platforms of taking us back to our past. And the only economic idea they've had in the last 50 years has been tax cuts. As much as I respect this man, this is ultimately just more of the "both sides are at fault" bullshit that's become far too common in political discourse.

but it certainly is necessary.
