Ep. 9 from yesterday was incredible. So much information with his discussion with Anand Giridharadas, it was really great.

while I clean the barn and do chores. It gives me plenty of dull time to listen. I too like MM a lot. I know a lot of people here have gone off him but I think that most of us are able to listen to people we sometimes disagree with and not need to discard them entirely. I find I agree with him much more than I disagree and if he wants to "bash our party" then there is usually something important to consider in what he says. Again, you do not have to agree but to not listen and discard someone entirely sounds a lot like what we do not like about the other side. GMO. I do think MM has tons to offer.

Yesterday I had a big job and his last podcast kept me listening the entire time. It was VERY good. Have a good drive and let me know what you thought about that last podcast.

Based on your name, do you have equines?

Yes, I love podcasts while doing monotonous activities. Admittedly, sometimes even while hiking well-trodden paths!

I've been thinking alot about how easily people are offended nowadays ‐ i.e., as you say, won't tolerate even slight differences of opinion. It can lead to demise, for example, candidates of same party splitting the vote...

All my animals are old now, the goats are almost at the end and I have lost 3 horses already. 4 to go the youngest is 20. It is sad but I do love them and keeping up with them is keeping me strong and younger than many of my friends.

I see you are a hiker, do you also have horses?

It always upsets me to see how this dynamic has lived on and gotten worse, especially around elections, here. To me the only way to strengthen our party is to have a lot of ideas, different ideas and realize few of them will ever see the light of day right now but what he hear leads to thinking and movement in the party. Oh well, I guess living in Kansas I have had a lot of time working around and actually occasionally with the R's. We used to have R's who were perfectly reasonable but now....the tea baggers are alive and well here.

Horse are 15, 23, and 26! Though I sometimes complain about chores, I agree that overall they are keeping me younger and stronger - certainly more active, than otherwise!

Now please stop saying ridiculous things like this: "I've come to the conclusion that the old guard of the Democratic Party is a greater roadblock to social progress than Trump is."

PLEASE. WTF.

I feel when I am being a clicktivist, I’m doing next to nothing for we the people. And, when I’m doing my direct action thing, I’m usually too busy to judge others efforts. This man has devoted most of his life’s work to we the people, in his own way. Simply because he doesn’t tow the DU party line in no way demeans his progressive efforts. I’ve always felt he’s trudging the same direction I am.

People with different opinions than us do also work on behalf of We The People. Echo chambers and closed political feedback loops are dangerous; FOXNEWS and conservative radio lead to Cult45 and other hate groups.

The federal government is saturated with corruption and we can all guess that the private top secret server is full of many illegal and anti-constitutional records.
