1917 guys..

Not to be missed.. Thats all I got.. Some brutal scenes that I expected based on who was involved with the production.. A who's who...

The young soldier who was the main character was just terrific... Brutal but not overdone..

Just got back... on the run....so this is essentially a go see it review

Like this is the only thing that makes this movie good?...... Saying that I really like Historical battle movies... I like history and the movie makes it come to life...

Now I get it.. It's like life.. Most people see our world in one continuous stream accept when we are asleep or unconscious.. That's how the movie runs.. I must admit it was a bit draggy in places and wanted to hit the "fast forward" button. I understand that Mendes was trying to create drama and tension peaking to a exciting point and to impatient me it dragged a bit.
All in all a good movie. The violence of war was present thru out but not gratuitous violence.
I always try to find the love story in a movie and this one is the love of two soldiers going thru a impossible situation trying to complete a mission... Maybe love is too strong...
Camaraderie maybe? The common bond that comes out of war......
