Renewable Energy in Germany

Germany is waayyyyy ahead of us in utilizing renewable energy, at the same time they're phasing out nukes. Robert Llewellyn interviews government official Dr. Silke Karcher, who explains the secrets of Germany's success, which we could, repeat could copy (If Mitt doesn't win!).

Robert Llewellyn's Fully Charged YouTube channel looks like it will be worth subscribing to.

Every time i'm the autobahn or on the train (which is electric most of the time) you see solar cells on just about every single farmhouse in the Bavarian countryside. Further north, especially in the east, windmills dot the landscape and they are huge.

They are really good at doing this stuff.
