(10,155 posts)3. I first heard this in 1971 when I was in the Air Force.
I was at Chanute AFB in lovely Rantoul, Illinois and this played on the University of Illinois radio station. It was winter and if the wind chill factor was lower than 60 below zero we didn't have to march the mile or so to our classrooms at 5 AM. The coldest place I have ever lived.
