(8,200 posts)He was repulsive in his slobbering adulation. One conman licking the boots of his fellow conman in crime. He is a phony Christian who make sure to display his cross glaringly during his asinine commercials. His pillows may be made in the USA, but he was spawned in a swamp with other slimy vermin.

(43,170 posts)that promised great sleep, something like 2 for the price of one, $29.95 or 39.95 plus shipping? I don't recall the name of the product but some very liberal person was pumping this to me about 6 years ago

(1,634 posts)The My Pillow Guy sells his crap at our local Bed Bath and Beyond.
During the 2017 Christmas shopping, the wife was thinking about purchasing The My Pillow.
Told her that Michael James Lindell, CEO of My Pillow, Inc., is Trump's BFF.
Her response, "HELL NO!"
I love my wife.

(149 posts)So at the last election in 2016, given the choice between Mrs. Clinton and Diarrhea Don, My Pillow Mike, MAGAts, the GOP, and God believed that a lying, adulterous, sex offending grifter was the best human for the job of POTUS.
If there was ever a better argument to abandon organized religious Ponzi-schemed shell games I've never heard one.

(3,243 posts)To be be fair, the my pillow guy's factory is being retooled to produce surgical masks during the pandemic. I'll give him credit for that, but there are plenty of people on the front line that don't kiss ass, that are just doing the job and not being recognized. I rarely hear Trump mention them. This guy praises Trump so he gets to be on stage to tell about his company. During his time at the podium he kissed up to Trump so hard he literally claimed the 2016 election outcome was, to paraphrase 'an act of grace from God so the country could be set straight and get back to God'.

(31,893 posts)with him telling his life story to sell the damn book. I was in a different room when it started, but I'd know that slimy voice anywhere. I rushed to the remote to hit "mute" then waited for the movie I wanted to watch to start - and waited, and waited, and waited.
It was nuts - the damn commercial just went on and on. Words cannot adequately express how much I loathe that guy.

He was the manager for the wrestler The Undertaker, carried around an urn and spoke in this faux stentorian voice.

(51,593 posts)"In August 2016, the New York State Attorney General's office charged that My Pillow failed to collect and remit over $500,000 in sales tax. The company denied any wrongdoing and agreed to pay $1.1 million in settlement.[10] In November 2016 My Pillow settled a lawsuit brought by the district attorneys of ten California counties regarding unsupported health claims "that My Pillow 'knew or reasonably should have known' that the marketing claims were likely to mislead consumers."[10] The company admitted no wrongdoing, and agreed to pay $995,000 in civil penalties and donate $100,000 to homeless and domestic violence shelters in California. "In addition, My Pillow must stop promoting itself as the 'official pillow' of the National Sleep Foundation because it failed to disclose its financial connection with the foundation to consumers."

(5,397 posts)Every country is bombarding it's citizens with messages on TV from medical and pandemic experts explaining how serious this virus is, and how best to protect yourself.
What does Trump do?
Downplays the whole pandemic thing, and trots out lame brained sycophants with no medical expertise to mouth platitudes like 'pray and read the bible.'
America, you now lead the world in pandemic deaths. Courtesy of Trump & Co.

(11,885 posts)Trying to hold onto his evangelicals with more claims , and displays of others being devotedly loyal to him after he's failed. This is all a show from trump , another act, more PR he uses to claim he's doing something, while he refuses help to those that need it the most, and is conning people into believing he's a christian, when he is not.
