Public Service Army

Fund the Front Lines
This isn’t about partisanship. It’s about clean water, road repairs, safe schools, first responders and well-staffed hospitals. And the bottom line is this: we can’t defeat the coronavirus and reopen the economy without strong, well-funded public services. We’re shouting this message from the rooftops — and now over the airwaves.

Contact Congress and tell them to fund the front lines by texting FUND to 237-263.

They have parked about 20 trillion in overseas accounts. Think about that as people die and lose homes and jobs.
I read something that really puts a billionaire in perspective. If someone gave you $10,000 a day, it would take 100 days to be a millionaire, but 274 YEARS to be a billionaire!

2. Very true. There is no moral reason for billionaires to exist in a civilized society.

Rising inequality (linked to inferior health care, schools, public services, underfunded government--except for military) is linked to the rising death tolls in the US.
