Hydroxychloroquine does not prevent anyone from getting the virus. This is just plain stupid.

So I had to turn off the video when he came on. I don't particularly care for whatever commentary he may give. Trump can take whatever he wants as far as I'm concerned - but if he's in one of those at risk populations and dies from the drug, guess what? We're stuck with Mike Pence - the cure that may be worse than the disease, as Trump put it. If you want to take an antimalarial medicine, why not take an older and safer drug, like Quinine? And if you want to boost your immunity, either in general, or boost your immune resistance to viruses, there are herbs for that as well. And herbs don't have the terrible side effects of pharmaceutical drugs. That's what I'm doing, in addition to the usual common sense protective measures. Double protection, both internal and external.

Shouldn't they be latching onto his every word? Perhaps they can better appease their dear leader by taking the hydroxychloroquine to show their support. Please this is not the time to rebel against dear leader.
