Those were people who lined up for a chance to fill out a job application for Ford Motor Company, after it was annouced that Ford was going to hire 400 people at a reduced $14.50 an hour rate at a plant in Chicago.

Ford sent more than 2,000 blank applications to the office, expecting to have more than 400 people show up.

Instead, despite the temperature being below freezing, raining, and windy, more than 10,000 people stood in line for hours for the chance to try and get a job application.

Lazy? No, Mitt. They are not lazy, and they are not sitting home asking for someone to take care of them. They are out on the road, day in and day out, trying to find work, after folks like you buy up their places of work, and sent the jobs to China.

Those 10,000 long people lines, people waiting in freezing temperatures for 400 reduced wage jobs are NOT recession lines. Those huge lines are seen in black and white pictures of the last RepubliCON Great Depression. Those lines happen NOW all over America But very few people see them.

Those are Great Depression Lines. Those lines will snake from one employing office through freezing cold August days and global warming hot nights, to drenching rain and sweat, through pain and misery, hate and disgust. They will stop at rich corporate offices that offer a sliver thin speck of hope for a secretary's or janitor's job. They will travel to the slaughter house factory and coal mine in their never ending search for a bit of dignity.

The RepubliCONS created these 2nd Great Depression unemployment lines starting with Raygun and ending with the bushes. They wanted lines like this. They wanted everyone fighting over scraps that nazi sympathizing politicians and billionaires would drop for the starving masses. They like and gloat over this Depressive world they created. Just look how Smug Mitt gets when he talks about it.

It's going to get worse. These lines wont end until the American majority gets up and fights, gets up and marches down the street as if Martin Luther King's soul were speaking to us. Until then, watch and try not to weep too much. It will only make it harder.
