OP
I don't see any particular reaction to the tax argument. He agrees with that.

It just looks like he is thinking,
"What am I doing here? 60 days ago, I was a rising star, and now my career is going down the toilet with this jackass. And what do I get out of it? Hell, I should be campaigning in Wisconsin. I may even lose my House seat. God, what a bad decision that was. Well, I guess I can be a K-Street Lobbyist. But then I'll probably have to give up my nice mansion in Janesville and move into a place one-tenth the size in northern Virginia. Idiot. Why did I do that? What was I thinking? I am so screwed. I wish I were back in Colorado climbing another '14'. "

(26,624 posts)5. bbd suggests you just watch Ryan and not listen to Mitt for the reaction.
Then keep in mind that one of Ryan's talking points is how Obama believes in redistribution. For Mitt to say that redistribution wasn't happening this last four years via taxes takes away from Ryan...

(8,377 posts)6. As in, "Hey, when did we stop lying about 'Obama tax increases' ?"
I guess Gilligan didn't get the email.

guy is but he is not reacting at all....
