Harvard and Yale are becoming jokes.
And, yes, Mittens is stupid. He's an overly "educated" buffoon. What's that saying? Oh, yeah. He's a legend in his own mind.

I think Romney's degrees are much more legitimate than Bush's. Bush ran a oil company in to the ground, while Romney helped build Bain Capital. Morality aside, it does take some skill.

He's just sheltered and ignorant of how the world works when the peasants you're gracing with your presence don't have to bow down to you and laugh at your mean-spirited jokes. So much so that it's hard to tell the difference.

The general voting population doesn't want to be bamboozled. But it's not the phony conservative who's losing this election. People are being turned off because they're getting to see the real Mitt Romney

The next person to run for president on the R ticket will be too. I've got a feeling the next presidential election (Barring a really bad choice on our part) is going to be an even more crushing defeat for them than this one will.

I don't think it matters how much of an actual conservative the candidate is. You can't convince the American people you empathize with their plight when your base despises 90% of the population and thinks empathy is socialism. Anything he says to energize the base is going to piss absolutely everyone else off. Anything that doesn't piss everyone off is going to enrage his base.

Not that I feel the least bit sorry for them. They're getting exactly what they deserve.

That's why I think he says things like this. In a way he is socially stupid, because he's never had to adapt.

He and Ann can say whatever they feel like to the help and they have to take it or he'll fire them. The help can't talk back. The help can't even storm off and quit because it's really tough finding another job even if it's kissing the ass of the filthy rich. So, Ann and Romney have never had to learn about being nice to people who do menial labor.

But they have learned to pretend to like rich obnoxious people. They have learned how to act as if they like the rich bastard at the country club or the neighbor at the rich people's gathering places. That they can do just fine.

But, and here's the kicker, they just can't quite figure out which way to treat the voting public. See if they are mean and obnoxious, like they are with the help and menial labor, then no one will vote for them. And they know in their guts the voting public is mostly menial laborers and help. Their rich obnoxious friends they see at expensive fund raising dinners and they know how to act toward them. But to the voting public they aren't quite sure and so sometimes they forget.

So you people who will never take responsibility for your lives don't deserve food or health care unless you clean my toilets for me.
