Michigan State Representative Tom McMillin - Being Gay is a choice

My Michigan State representative is a man by the name of Tom McMillin. At a town hall meeting held at the Rochester Hills City Hall, State Representative Tom McMillin was asked whether he thought being gay is a choice.

Just like many conservative idealogues, Tom McMillin seems to have a problem with science. There is no scientific evidence to back up his claim, but he insists that because Ann Heche, a former partner of Ellen DeGeneres claims she is now straight, tens of thousands of people have changed their sexual orientation.

I hope you will watch the video and post a comment I can send along to Rep. McMillin. His challenger is Joanna VanRaaphorst. If you'e like to help defeat Tom McMillin, you can visit Joanna's web site at www.joannaforrochester.com

It appears being a MORON isn't a choice, but being an ASSHOLE is. nt valerief Sep 2012 #4

There still wouldn't be anything wrong with choosing to be gay and still wouldn't be anyone's including the government's business on who a person chooses to marry
