This guy lies with such ease and all the time.. It is so disturbing that so many people will vote for this
pathological liar.

(904 posts)I'm starting to think he's either an insane liar or an actual robot that is rebooted each morning to clear out his cache.

(9,114 posts)Reveals 'foreign policy weakness', budget and economic policy weakness, intellectual weakness, moral turpitude, poor work ethic.
The porcine Sununu projects the smug stupidity and laziness of l'il bush onto Prez Obama, to promote the candidacy of his guy, who doesn't read his foreign policy briefs, but who also has 17 out of 24 l'il bushites as campaign foreign policy advisers.
Lip-less sneering Giuliani appears on CBS about 9-11 pre-warnings gone unheeded (just 2012-vintage though, not the new Eichenwald info on the 9 pre-9-11 warnings that l'il bush ignored, to the detriment of Giuliani's electorate). We get the same hypocritical projection from the stellar oversight efforts displayed by repug House majority party Rep. Issa's lightning-quick investigation of 9-11 (2012) 'national security failures'.
They're all working to promote the gaffe machine who generated massive ill-will for American foreign policy in every nation he visited, while on tour to display his foreign policy chops 2 months ago, and who answered a total of 3 questions during that whole time from his press pool.
Their patented 'wrong about everything' strategy is designed to give all of us heart attacks, like Belushi giving a Week-end Update editorial speech. Or at least to temporarily incapacitate us during the time we spend keeping our lunches down.

(5,290 posts)More corporate, prick CEO, CIO, corporate director bullshit speech. I've heard every corporate manager that I've ever had the misfortune to be in the same room with use that exact phrase when they want to seem like they are "clever". I've always seen only the smarmy asshole behind the phrase, and Rmoney fit the description to a t.

(9,895 posts)When Romney says 2008 debates and then says a year later the world was changed, the context of the comments make it very clear he mis-spoke and meant the 2000 presidential debates, which did not mention terrorism unless Al Queda was code for "lock-box".
I love Rachel's show, but she is better than that kind of snark and misleading opening to the piece.
Yes, Mitt Romney is a serial liar.
Yes, Mitt Romney has a conditional relationship with the truth for his own campaign.
But, Rachel is playing dumb by playing up the gaffe of which debates Romney was referencing there,,,,
It does our side no good to fight Republican lies and partial truths by getting into the same sty and slopping around with them.
I expect that kind of selective interpretation from Limbaugh and Hannity and the rest of the clown circus. I do not expect it from Rachel.

(14,549 posts)and who knows what Romney is really thinking when he says 2008. This is the guy who said the Soviet Union is our biggest threat. This is the guy who at one point was polling lower than Herman "Uzbecki-becki-becki-stan" Cain.
