IN PRIVATE: Does focus group research with REAL focus groups to obtain ACCURATE information of words and positions that can be used by the GOP propaganda machine. ('reverse discrimination' instead of 'affirmative action'; 'climate change' instead of global warming; 'culture of dependence' instead of 'lazy niggers' are all Frank Luntz, focus group-tested jargon used in hard-core GOP dogwhistle politics.)

IN PUBLIC: he does 'focus group' work with FAKE focus groups that are carefully selected to give answers that will boost GOP propaganda and buck up the troops, much like the inter-election Rasmussen polls.

It is so sad. Our president has done so much, even in the face of unprecedented obstructionism from republicans, and these people don't know about any of it. They also don't seem to know anything about the last republican administration, like it never happened.

Don't get me wrong, I am a die hard Progressive who is constantly embarrassed by my fellow Texans, especially the Shrub. I wish that Ann Richards was still alive to talk about the huge silver foot in Rmoney's mouth! Lol. To make it to become POTUS you have to do some deals with the Devil, and Obama did so with BP. The summer of 2010 before the midterm elections people were starting to call the continuing oil spill, Obama's Katrina. BP came to Obama with a turnkey plan of a 20 billion dollar fund headed by one of the worst lying human pieces of garbage, Kenneth Feinberg. There was never 20 billion in a Fund, and only now under a class action bull shit deal is BP starting to settle the 80% of the victims who have yet to have an offer. BP has done a masterful job of spin, in large part because they bribed all coastal Governers, aired their propaganda on every coastal media outlet (so they would not run any victims stories for fear of losing the massive ad money). So nothing gets out to the rest of the world but their version. Obama is complicit in that in return for blessing this deal and calling it a great deal, and giving BP the Coast Guard to do their bidding and back up their story, BP could take the heat off of Obama before the mid-terms. I know because all I have done since March 23, 2005, when BP blew up their Texas City, Tx refinery killing 15 and injuring thousands, is fight BP in litigation. Obama does have to play the game. I am voting for him again, but he has harmed every victim of this spill and has never stepped in since to get BP to come clean. BP sprayed tons of Corexit which is killing the seafood industry just to sink the oil to avoid the fines per barrel. Useless Eric Holder never investigated anyone criminally and only an engineer caught destroying evidence of how much oil leaked out will go to jail!
