are paid less your SS is less.
This is a family issue since it takes two working now a days to support a family.
My sister-in-law and her partner are doubly screwed by unequal pay and her partner is getting custody of her grand son so he is screwed too!

I have worked for over 50 years, but did not make a lot of money. But my benefits are over $14,000 a month. I can live fairly well on that amount because I have no credit card bills, just the usual utilities plus Internet. My car is free and clear even though it is getting old, but since I have retired I do not drive that much. I live in a mobile home and only pay $377 lot rent.
