1. QUESTION today's Gallup Poll (10/18/12) election forecast

I QUESTION today's Gallup Poll (10/18/12) election forecast. I had concerns about the impartiality of Gallup several months back when I was part of a private meeting with the CEO of this leading polling organization when he came to speak in Denver. It comes as no surprise to me that Gallup is out front in forecasting Mitt Romney is leading the 2012 race. A wider check of opinion gives a very different result:

Those giving it to Romney:
Gallup: 52% Romney, Obama 45% (margin of error 4%)
Rasmussen Reports: 49% Romney, Obama 47%

Real Clear Politics: Electoral Votes 201 Obama, 206 Romney (131 Tossup)

Those giving it to Obama:
Washington Post: Electoral Votes 235 Obama, 206 Romney (77 Tossup)
New York Times: Electoral Votes 237 Obama, 191 Romney (110 Tossup)
Huffington Post: Electoral Votes 267 Obama, 206 Romney (65 Tossup)
Reuters: Electoral Votes - 269 Obama, 191 Romney (131 Tossup)
Five Thirty Eight Forecast: Electoral Votes 287 Obama, 251 Romney

Reuters is no light weight business news organization!

They oversample conservatives, they use outdated Likely Voters, and give way too much weight to the South. Most people aren't savvy enough to realize what those gallup polls actually reflect. Shame that the media gives them any credence at all.

His highness mittytwit is in a corner somewhere drooling all over himself and mumbling libya, libya libya. Queen annie said she worries about his mental stability, that last debate probably hurt more than we know. You all saw how he left it like a scalded dog. He called our President a boy and liar in the first debate and I would bet he was planning to rub his head this time but didn't have a chance with the drubbing he took. May he continue to drool and mumble.

Ann's comments today about how she is the "Mitt Stabilizer" because if he's left alone too long he gets "crazy" and "hyped up" and she has to calm him down. Also, she mentioned that she will walk in the room happy, then Mitt just unloads all this stuff on her, and she' not happy anymore. The republicans are being SO dishonest about Romney... he is not fit to be President. Does not have the temperament or stability necessary. Frightens me that he seems to have NO friends at all... no one is vouching for his character. Period.

Undoubtedly, he’s swamped with his normal duties as President and stuck stumping because 1/2 of this country votes based on how someone/something tells them to vote (FOX), but, he has to have a performance that is at least on par with the last one to see a positive move in the polls. He has to be on is game.
