I bet that willard's sons were all in favor of the Iraq war, too!

(998 posts)Even when sent overseas on their missions they live in church owned housing,and are strictly monitored and supervised. They are not allowed to socialize with locals and the only contact they have with "the natives" is on their door to door jaunts.
Back home Mormons marry each other, socialize with each other in their church related and social activities. Talk about living in conditions where all their beliefs and cultural habits are constantly undergoing reinforcement to the extent they are conditioned to be as clueless as Ms Ann (and her husband) about everything outside their bubble.
I don't think this poor woman even guesses how offensive she is when she compares the cushy "service" her sons performed in Paris, Bordeaux, Leeds and Santiago in comparison to Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan.

The policy for Michigan is known to American Veterans.
I think that W. Mitt Romney was hiding out in France; hiding from the French government and America.

(14,923 posts)It must have been a very difficult and scary time for young Mitt Romney riding around Paris on his bike making his way to local hostile cafes trying to nourish weakened body with life-sustaining lattes and hot croissants.
