GREG PALAST - UAW Files Ethics Charge On Romney For Auto Loan Profits

For Mitt Romney, it's one scary Halloween. The Presidential candidate has just learned that tomorrow afternoon he will charged with violating the federal Ethics in Government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bail-out.

At a press conference in Toledo, Bob King, President of the United Automobile Workers, will announce that his union and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) have filed a formal complaint with the US Office of Government Ethics in Washington stating that Gov. Romney improperly hid a profit of $15.3 million to $115.0 million in Ann Romney's so-called "blind" trust.

========================================

King added, "While Romney was opposing the rescue of one of the nation's most important manufacturing sectors, he was building his fortunes with his Delphi investor group, making his fortunes off the misfortunes of others."

If this story is going to sway people they'll probably need a picture that doesn't have Obama campaign posters all over it, otherwise it kind of looks like a 4th quarter headline grabber.

This one doesn't make much sense to me; it's her trust, not his. Are we privvy to all of Michelle's investments? Because that would be a better analogy instead of pitting Ann Romney vs Obama's blind trusts.

I guess I'm not supposed to think about it that deeply. Charges Filed!!! Raaagh!!!

Yeah, it's late.

Intentionally.. This would be a planned investment to make Mitt not look so bad.. By putting it under Ann's Name.
Likely Ann's and Mitt's investments are handled by the same tax expert. ?
. The UAW and others have filed an ethics complaint against Mitt's investments.. It just happened that Palast spoke to the UAW, this event was not a part of any orchestrated Obama event as Palast admitted to writing anti Obama pieces..
My question about Americans and this story.. Has it been carried by CNN, and the three networks.. I have not seen it mentioned.
How are the American people to know. The major news outlets are too afraid to offend the Gobbers.
. Don't like Palast in front of the UAW's signage. There are lots of other videos available at other venues..

he's got to steal, cheat, lie, bribe, destroy elderly people's pensions, break the back of poor working people, and commit crimes in order to get more. It's never enough for the upper 1%.

This is the moral example set by our uber rich oligarchy. Stealing, cheating and committing crimes for more, more, more money so they can buy another Olympic horse or maybe they need another car elevator.
