steve's a great songwriter and truly a progressive. i slso enjoy the duet of stacy (his sister) and mark stuart, they are more folk than country and not so overtly political as steve, but here fb page bristles with progressive thought.

if they write pro-choice, pro-black, pro-anything non-white/puritanical christian- they won't get recorded or played on the radio.

Listen to the words in Bentley's song. Isn't that America today? He performed this song at the White House last year.
