*ush was driving me up the wall and I'd talk back to the TV because of the lies and spin and then Obama was elected and intelligent words came out his mouth. Common sense ideas. It was a breath of fresh air after nearly choking under the cloud of rethug propaganda fog.

In 2008 he gave his final campaign speech in North Carolina and spoke of his grandmother dying earlier that morning. She is the one that he grew up with. His sister Maya was by her side in Hawaii when she passed away.

I think President Obama was thinking of her tonight.

I was the night before voting in 2008. I was never excited about voting before. I am excited again.
