(9,298 posts)VERY proud of my birth city and of course, fantastic appearances by POTUS and FLOTUS.
Hope they're back in D.C. by now getting a good night's sleep - my, how they deserve it!

(27,985 posts)I think I just figured out why President Obama was off of his game in the first debate. I'm probably wrong and yet, I'm more often right in these intuitive leaps than not. If I'm right, I'm really glad they didn't tell us during the campaign. It would have guaranteed them another four years (though I think that's already a guarantee) but it wouldn't have been the ethical, right way to win.
Bookmark this thread so I can be ridiculed until the end of time. However, my husband can tell you that when I saw one of the speakers at the 2004 convention, a man I had never laid eyes on before, I leaned over and told him that that man would one day be the President. I didn't think at the time it would be so soon, but I knew.
I think our First Lady is pregnant. I could pretend to bolster this by telling you that I've worked in Maternal Fetal medicine for most of my 24 year career, but this isn't about that. Well, maybe I see one or two things that might be working on my subconscious, but this just feels like intuition.
Wouldn't it be neat to have a baby in the White House?

(27,985 posts)I have about a 60% correct ratio, my husband swears it's more like 80%. It's so out of left field, I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong. It occurs to me though, that a baby in the WH now would do a lot to cool the crazies down. But that's no reason to make a baby. If there is a baby, it's an oops midlife curveball, who are usually the most amazing kids on earth, but..........It was just a flash, nothing more.
