If SS is privatized, I'll be paying fees to Wall Street to "service" my account? And the next time Wall Street goes belly up, I'll be paying for its bailout as well?

If this was truly about "The Deficit," why not go after the ones who created it? Bill Clinton left office with a surplus; Bush and the GOP lied us into war while cutting taxes on the wealthy, creating huge deficits. It seems to me they should be held accountable, not the 99 percent.

I agree with the DUer above: we need to fight this!

And "The Third Way" are not true Democrats, they are NeoCon Republican poseurs. No Democrat in their right mind would want to privatize Social Security. Keep the control away from Wall Street! We must fight this!

Example...

Just the day after the elections, the DJIA tanked 300+ points.

How many everyday, average citizens were prepared for Wall Street to fuck with programs and cause that?

NO, NO, NO! Wall Street and the Bankster canNOT get their dirty bastard hands on these monies.

Democracy won Tuesday. Oligarchy lost and there should be no proposals but forward on behalf of the oligarchs unless they also benefit The People.

A call to privatize SS will be greeted with opposition whether it comes from Republicans or those Damned Lousy Collaborators in the Democratic Party.

The Wall Street criminals tanked the economy, took a huge bailout and doubled down on their their criminal behavior. I'm in no mood to do them any favors. It's long passed time to stop appeasing the Wall Street mafia and start prosecuting them. If I wanted this kind of thing, I would have voted for Mitt the Twit.

I thought Mitch McConnell was the only one that was truly crazy up there.. thinking that POB's election was a mandate to not "raise" taxes on the rich. I've always had a tremendous amount of respect for William Black, but he has really gone off the deep end here, saying this Third Way group sees POB's election as a mandate to sell out on Soc Security!!!! How many of us ever heard a word about this "Third Way", or a "Grand Bargain" that PO supposedly has wind of and/or allegiance to? If you have heard of it, can you remember who you heard report it? Was it on the Sunday morning shows today? I didn't watch them. Really, I'm pretty savvy when it comes to news. I have my ears peeled constantly on the political front. The ones I NEVER EVER EVER look at (except from here on DU) are Faux News, Joe 'Scarface, Chuckles Todd or Faux-wanna-be-CNN. THIS COUNTRY IS NOT BROKE !!! Ooooops, I just flipped over to the rerun of Meet the Press on MSNBC and there was Schumer on Meet the Press saying we need MITT ROMNEY & JEB BUSH working on something?????????? What the F___ was that? After I watched the William Black clip above, I thought to myself about who could possibly belong to this "Third Way" group, and I swear, Schumer came to my mind. Anyone else willing to pipe up with anyone else who could be in this Third Way group?? Jeeeeezzzzz, I have to get out of here for a while and settle myself down! I think it might be high time for PO to come out tomorrow and TELL EVERYONE what he considers to be his mandate. Now Bill Woodward mentioned the Grand Bargain with John Baehner!!! I'm out of here for now.
