I love this guy.
I sleep better at night knowing that he's at the helm, and that Hillary is flying around putting out fires for him.

That's so cool! And a good catch by you!

(14,887 posts)leader we now see. He is comfortable with the job and the office. Maybe that is the difference. Other candidates will boast of their credentials to assume the office; will insist they have the qualifications. He did not have a long list. But damn, he wears the mantle w/ grace and a quiet self assurance.

(19 posts)thank you Alex. For allowing history to be part of your reporting. Looking forward does not mean ignoring the past. We learn from that history and it should be more forthcoming in our journalistic reports. But that calls for knowledge and I appreciate when people take the time to learn about the history that shapes events of the day.

(1,009 posts)would be that Romney's administration would attempt to go into Myanmar/Burma to see how best to exploit it for his corporate overlord friends. They'll figure out how best to get the Burmese leaders to allow the corporations to exploit the workers while the leaders look the other way. The leaders will get rich, the corporations will get rich, and the populace would be transferred from being under the yoke of the government to being under the yoke of corporations. In other words, see the Marianas.

(2,672 posts)Obama is our president. We definitely dodged a bullet by not having romney as our president. I can imagine what romney would do and say regarding Burma, probably that we need to bomb them. romney would have been bush on steroids.
Thank you, President Obama!
