Focusing on equality seems short sighted when it is the gifted among us who makes things better for everyone else.

I am thankful for those who have gotten us so very far. I do not begrudge anything they may receive in return. I hope they are consumed and driven by the need to create and BE RICH.

However, there's a lot of really exciting stuff happening out there and whether or not technology can save us from our own greed and stupidity, it will be a wild ride to see how much it can do.

The real challenge won't be in generating electricity or curing disease. The real challenge is finding a way to distribute the wealth of this planet fairly and equitably, so we leave behind us the absurd notion that some lives are worth more than othe

There was never a better time to be alive than today."

When people would speak nostalgically about earlier simpler time, he would tell stories about what that REALLY meant. Like pulling his siblings away from the rotting horse carcasses that tended to appear on the streets in the poorest areas of NYC, the darkness, the poverty, the hopelessness.

In his life, he saw electric lights, cars, televisions, telephones come into common use. In our lifetimes we will see more amazing developments.

Remembering this has always allowed me to maintain some optimism in the face of current events.
