A place of mythic beauty

I got this picture from writer CJ (Carolyn) Cherryh's page. She describes it as: "A place where myths could be born!" Carolyn writes some great, mythic fantasy, so she should know!



The flame is from a leak of natural gas (NOT produced by fracking!. No one knows who first lit this natural "eternal flame;" but, every time it goes out, someone relights it.

It's originally from The Earth Story facebook page.
