But sad to hear that things haven't changed. Except that our population has grown (probably almost doubled since then), and everything's the same way again it was in the 1930s...some 80 yrs ago.

we see today on the TeeVee. He got the number one most fundamental thing right--jobs matter more than all those other technical problems combined. If you've got millions out of work, willing and able to work, but unable to find jobs, that's more important than any "fiscal cliff."

Once again we find ourselves in the richest nation on Earth, with more corn, more wheat, more gold, more everything, yet with millions struggling to afford food.
