Just a thought.

No, I didn't make such a bomb.

He turned against the industry long ago and made efforts to force change from within.

Hence, former executive.

His son was one of the defendants in the landmark court decision regarding Montana's legal responsibility to protect the environment for future generations.

I hope we can get rid of the body slamming christofascist. This candidate might have a good chance at unseating the incumbent.

So I hope he picks up a lot of support. Friend of a friend grew up with him and they visit regularly. Friend said he met him recently and thinks he's a realistic contender. I think his background could win him some crossover vote. Not all Rs here are magats and they are bewildered as to what to do about them.

I'm hopeful, at least someone is stepping up for it.

For a long time we had a Republican Rep. (the infamous John Sweeney) simply because the Democrats failed to field a viable candidate. I finally took the Clintons - and a campaign visit by former President Bill Clinton (who is a brilliant speaker!) - to finally elect a Democrat. Here's hoping that this candidate also gets national support. And I think you're right, he is likely to attract crossover votes.

He sees the difference between what we had before the era of magats and what has been foisted upon us in the present and he's not into it.

Someone above said his son is one of the teens who won that lawsuit against the state over environment and fossil fuel permits in the state. I hope that's true because if it is, I think he's more on our side there too. Montana has everything to lose in the climate change issue. But also everything to gain if tourism gets under control.

Though I'm not counting on it from what we've seen. But this guy is clearly one of them and decided to step up. And if his son, as a teen, can see the writing on the wall, that's mighty impressive. As you said, Montana is clearly vulnerable to the climate change issue, so having a governor who is supportive of taking action on that is imperative right now.
