after watching this. I guess there's not much hope for the A's to win another World Series title anytime soon?

Fun fact, though--we now have heard about the comparison between the NFL and socialism, but what about Mario Kart? One could arguably compare that video game series to socialism. The reason why I say this is because anyone who has played this game before knows that when you fall behind in a race, you receive better power ups (such as thunderbolts and blue shells), plus the "rubber-banding" difficulty of A.I.-controlled drivers causes them to slow down a little when your driver falls far enough behind, while their top speed doubles whenever you're in 1st place. Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart DS are really notorious for that.
