Jon Stewart wasted no time tonight in lambasting President Obama over the secret drone strike memo released earlier this week. Stewart contrasted Obama’s previous desire for transparency in releasing torture memos from the Bush administration with the current reluctance from the administration to release its memos on how the U.S. gets to rain hell from above with a “missile robot plane.” -snip-

were laid out pretty clear. Clear in that these tenets aren't clear. And clear that imminent threat doesn't mean squat and is basically Orwellian double speak......

We acknowledge when our leaders do bad things. We may still support them in other areas, but we can acknowledge their faults without making excuses.

Never once in all they years that Bush was president and I went over to Freak Republic did I see anybody criticize him for the lack of WMD, torture, or things like the Patriot Act. All they did was make excuses and blame others.
