Related: About this forumMissed this in October. I agree that Debbie WS should have known about the kill list.
She gave a flip curt response to the interviewer. I guess she has heard more about the situation since then. This is how people come across when they get all wrapped up in talking points and forget to be honest and sincere.
From The Guardian in October
That Obama has a "kill list" has been known since January, 2010, and has been widely reported and discussed in every major American newspaper since April 2010. A major controversy over chronic White House leaks often featured complaints about this article (New York Times, 5 June 2012: "Senators to Open Inquiry Into 'Kill List' and Iran Security Leaks" . The Attorney General, Eric Holder, gave a major speech defending it.
But Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic Congresswoman from Florida and the Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, does not know about any of this. She has never heard of any of it. She has managed to remain completely ignorant about the fact that President Obama has asserted and exercised the power to secretly place human beings, including US citizens, on his "kill list" and then order the CIA to extinguish their lives.
Just marvel at this stunning, completely inexcusable two-minute display of wholesale ignorance by this elected official and DNC chair. Here she is after the second presidential debate being asked by Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change about the "kill list" and whether Romney should be trusted with this power. She doesn't defend the "kill list". She doesn't criticize it. She makes clear that she has never heard of it and then contemptuously treats Rudkowski like he is some sort of frivolous joke for thinking that it is real

(14,087 posts)how uninformed she is. That the Dems put her in charge, instead of a dynamite package like Howard Dean, just tells me the party leaders want someone who is completely subservient.

(3,539 posts)I had this go around with a Tea Bagger client over Benghazy.
It would be wonderful if our government could be totally transparent with us and tell us everything.
Unfortunately their are 'bad guys' out their and sometimes it get's a little like that old Mad Magisine Spy vs. Spy stuff.
It's not that I approve of things of that nature or blindly approve of everything our government does.
We couldn't very well have alerted the major TV networks to send camera crues to a compound in Pakistan so we could have live and in color coverage of Ben-laden getting his comeuppances.
It would not have helped to tell Germany as to what we planned for Normandy.
In this world, no President can tell us the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
That is until mankind matures a bit more. If we get that chance.

(88,117 posts)She made the reporter sound like a conspiracy theorist. Could have just refused to answer or some other tactic.
She could/should have handled it a lot better. But....... October was close to what??????? DWS had what position in the party??????? Do you think she had a ton of other things on her mind?????? I'll give the woman a break........ seeing she has so much respect from the wack job tea bagger by the name of Alan West. hehehehehehehe. Yup. I am a fan of hers.

(105 posts)DWS puts personal stuff before political party. That is novel. It didn't prevent her from getting to be the Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. So, I expect the party didn't hold a grudge. Mario Diaz-Balart is my Rep. now, and it is very upsetting to me. But, I hold no grudges either.
