My boyfriend downloaded the app for his Credit Union. For the past 2 weeks he has had trouble accessing his account. I was able to get on using our laptop. I went with him to the Credit Union on Friday. He has gone on his own at least 3 other times. The Credit Union for the 4th time showed him how to sign on, we changed his user name and password. We went home.
A few hours later he's yelling that he can't use the app. I used the laptop and got on the site easily. I asked to see his phone & found that some password he had used in the past month or so, was remembered by his browser & it is not the correct password. We went to the Credit Union today, they suggested uinstalling the app and then reinstalling it. We did that twice and the incorrect password is still locked in.
Any answers, how do we delete the old password?

If that doesn't work find a way in the app to set your password explicitly (search the Internet for "<app name> changing password".
If that doesn't work consider finding a new boyfriend.

(554 posts)Because Android will hang to to the data cache. Go into his Settings, Apps, App Manager (Or just apps if his phone is more current). Scroll down the the CU app, tap it. Then in the app screen that comes up, tap "Storage." Then tap both "Clear data" and "Clear cache." (Buttons that will appear on the screen).
