...they don't appear. You can type them and they work, but it doesn't work when you paste.

This is a residual by-product of security measures taken after the last time DU was hacked.

Look at the thread I posted earlier:

...and look at the word "he's" at the end of the subject line.

ON EDIT: This only happens in subject lines, not the post itself.
