In another thread "List left" posted about the large amount of spyware downloaded to his/her computer after viewing the website RawStory, and mentioned using Superantispyware to clean it up. https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1018&pid=1003250
I also use Superantispyware regularly, but in the past have not noticed any problems after viewing RawStory.
This morning, after viewing RawStory, I ran the Superantispyware and it showed 686 tracking cookies had been downloaded.
I do have an adblocker and other protections.
Ive deleted RawStory and wont be going back nor using it again.

(34,195 posts)I also run Malwarebytes, CCleaner, Wise Disk Cleaner, JRT, Windows Defender, and the Superantispyware several times each week.
None stopped the spyware from RawStory.
