A woman removed six ribs. Might be the one in the picture. Sounds like she wanted to have the consistency of a worm.

it seems to be mostly urban myth.

I really wonder about any doctor that would do such a thing. Especially, if as claimed, six ribs. I'd think that taking out that many ribs would have real consequences to the internal organs in some way.

urban myth would have. Again, I really question the doctors who would do this sort of thing.

Perhaps I should be, as that cartoon woman would have it, more accepting of those who are different.

one of the meteorologists here is so super skinny, she does not appear to have a rib cage. I remember hearing that Cher did this. I have no idea if it's true or not but it's weird that you posted about it here when I just recently thought about it.
