My browser is fine and I've never had any virus alerts from that site, but I know LiveLeak sometimes shows very disturbing videos.

LiveLeak usually doesn't cause problems unless someone has their "parental controls" on, blocking a site that sometimes shows videos of terrorists beheading people and the like.

I recently updated my Adobe Flash player, and now I can play all of the videos on NBC and MCNBC. Before that I couldn't play them, they were all blocked.

Try that - update your Adobe Flash and it will probably make a difference.

I forgot that I disabled it. There are some sites that use it so much that it bogs down my browser.

Buckeye, I updated both my Java and my Adobe Flash player a few days ago.
So it could actually be either one of those that's blocking the video for you. (not sure)

The Adobe Flash player is tricky in the Chrome browser. You have to download a different version, and the settings are different. It's always something, right?
But anyway I hope this helps.
