8. Full report with surprise: I looked Yoko Ono right in the eye.

I was sitting on a bench on the main floor, and security stuff was getting arranged. I was hoping for an actress, but this tiny Asian person in a wheelchair rolled right past me with about 6 people in tow. She smiled right into me and I smiled back. She didn't say a word that I heard. She was wearing a hat and large sunglasses.

I said to 2 of the followers : "that was Yoko Ono." And they smiled and did not deny it. Cool!

No point in going over there now: she's long gone. I would never out a celebrity on the go.

The exhibit had the whole kitchen, servents diningroom and carsen's office. They coukdn't have the library so they used a blank room to represent it with media, and they played lots of scenes including the war.

Mary's bedroom. The whole diningroom and lots of artifacts, like Anna's arrest warrant. The gowns steal the show up on the 3rd floor. All 4 wedding gowns: both of edith's, mary's and Mrs. Hughes' velvet coat.

The soundtrack plays throughout, as well as little videos about dress and dining habits. There is an introduction and conclusion video with Cora, Robert Mrs. Hughes and Carsen. Very charming. It put these tough new yorkers into perfect mannerly behavior!

Luckily, very few babies or children. Constant oos and ahhs and photos. I'm not posting any: it said for personal use only.

Awesome, warm day in nyc, too. I ate a wafels &dinges in Bryant Park after leaving grand central. Heaven.

Wish the actress had made it, but she was a no show yest erday, too. I saw a tv cameraman and knew we were due for a celebrity, but, no show. I read that Joanna, Sophie and Leslie were in nyc yesterday, so, I was hoping...but no.

9. You can apply for a job at downton abbey.

There are digital screens where you can apply to work at downton, and mrs. Hughes and Carsen abuse you for it at the end. He warns you not to steal anything at the beginning and then picks on you for what you're wearing for your visit. Cute.
