My kiddo attending UT sent a pic from her balcony of blanketed cars & grass but snow was melting on the ground. Quite a sight & rare occurrence for Austin!

It's pretty cold here, so the snow hasn't melted at all. We've had a few light flurries -- I get very little lake effect 50 miles from Lake Michigan -- which only adds to the glistening. Unfortunately, it has been overcast so no sunshine to add to the glitter.

Going to add a couple of inches on Monday, they say. I pray for light snow in recent years. At my age deep snow is a real problem.

Keep bundled up, my friend.

on edit: Hint: My home is in the midst of the Manistee National Forest.
