Awesome.

Nice way to draw some of their fans and not have everyone realize it's a BOC show. The Stones would do that sometimes. Do a show at a club under another name.

I was in college, not far from there, at the time.

Friends had to explain the whole SWU vs BOC thing to me. It's just as you state.

It was truly "Some Enchanted Evening." Buck Dharma five feet in front of me.

My fav is the "Revolution by Night" album. Love Buck's solo album.

Peace.

Went to a concert where they were scheduled to be one of the acts performing--they didn't show. I never found out why, but I wasted a godd chunk of change in hopes of seeing them. Still listen to 'em (some GREAT music there!) but I'm also still bummed out over that.......

Driftwood, from Octave. The second single (and best song) from the album, and the last single to feature keyboardist Mike Pinder.

The promotional video, an edited version of the song, made after Patrick Moraz joined the band:

But Driftwood is one of my very favorite songs.

This one, believe it or not, is the one that got me into the Moody Blues, from the Moraz era... This is just a fun kickass song.

I am NOT a Mancow fan, and I didn't know he was a huge Moody Blues fan, or that he'd been on a crusade to get the Moodies into the Hall of Fame "forever."

But I ran across tweets about the podcast this morning, thought I'd post one here:

Irreverence on steroids: Call in from Monaco from 9:22 thru 14:00 but keep listening for more discussion ... #JustinHayward, a half glass empty type of guy, joins #Mancow! http://audioboom.com/posts/6550999-justin-hayward-joins-mancow?utm_campaign=embed&utm_content=retweet&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter … via @audioBoom

Podcast link:

As the tweet says, just set your cursor there just after the 9-minute mark. After the call ends, Mancow goes on talking about how much he wants to be at the ceremony.

Btw...Justin says he expects Mike and Ray to be there with him and John and Graeme...and he expects them to perform.
